  • Le Pecq:
    Lying to the east of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Le Pecq straddles the Seine and extends below the Terrasse along both banks of the river. Le Pecq has 6 districts: 4 on the left bank and 2 on the right bank, linked by an important bridge “le pont du Pecq”. The historic centre is located on the higher slopes, near Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
    A bi-lingual education (English/French) is available in the local primary school, Félix Eboué, and at secondary level in the Collège Pierre & Marie Curie, thanks to the presence of the British Section of the Lycée International in both schools. The British School of Paris is located in Croissy-sur-Seine, the town nearby.
    The town has 15,500 inhabitants called “Alpicois”.
    The RER A station (Le Vésinet-Le-Pecq) is located on the right bank, near the town of Le Vésinet.

  • Mareil-Marly:
    Located to the south of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, very close to the Marly forest, Mareil-Marly offers a very pleasant environment in which to live.
    The village has its own bakery and supermarket as well as a crèche and a primary school.
    In 2022, the Tram 13 station will provide a link with the RER A in Saint-Germain-en-Laye and with Saint-Lazare in Paris; just one change will be necessary in Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche.
    The 3,500 inhabitants are called "Mareillois".

  • Le Vésinet:
    Le Vésinet is renowned for its numerous parks and green spaces, whilst the town centre provides all essential shops. There is also a wide range of schools, including the Lycée Alain.
    Well connected to public transport, the RER A station (Le Vésinet Centre) provides a link to Saint-Germain-en-Laye in one direction and to Paris in the other (20 minutes away).

  • L’Étang-la-Ville:
    Located south-east of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, L’Étang-la-Ville nestles in the heart of the Marly forest. All basic commodities - even a Saturday market - are present in the village, allowing local shopping. The village also has a primary school.
    L’Etang-la-Ville has two SNCF train stations enabling you to go straight to La Défense or the Gare Saint-Lazare (40 minutes away). In 2022, when the Tram 13 opens, two tram stations will provide a link to the RER A in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
    There is a bus service to the RER in Saint-Germain-en-Laye and a school bus to the Lycée International.
    Almost 4,500 "Stagnovillois" live in this village.

  • Marly-le-Roi:
    The historic centre of Marly-le-Roi is located near the Marly forest and park. It is a small town, with nearly 16,000 inhabitants, and extends from high ground right down to the River Seine, where it overlooks Port-Marly. It offers a residential area as well as a more built-up area with shopping facilities. There is also a broad range of schools, including the Lycée Louis de Broglie.
    The SNCF train station is located in the town centre and enables the Gare Saint-Lazare in Paris to be reached in less than 40 minutes. With a change in Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche (2 stations away), you will also be able (in 2022) to catch the Tram 13, to take you directly to Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

  • Chambourcy:
    To the west of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, near the A13 motorway to Normandy and the A14 to Paris, Chambourcy offers a country lifestyle within easy reach of Saint-Germain-en-Laye (just 3 km away). The 5,700 inhabitants enjoy an area made up predominately of green spaces and natural sites.
    All basic commodities are located in the village centre, whilst a huge shopping centre is located on either side of the N13. The town has both primary and secondary schools and the Lycée International is within easy reach, by foot or by bike.
    There is a direct bus (R4) and a free shuttle service to the RER A in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. In 2022, there will also be a link with the Tram 13 station Grande Ceinture.

  • Montesson:
    Montesson is located on the other side of the River Seine, opposite the Terrasse. It is a town of 15,000 inhabitants with a vast market gardening area as well as built-up and residential areas.
    There are both primary and secondary level schools.
    Buses connect to the SNCF and RER stations at Sartrouville, Houilles/Carrières-sur-Seine and Le Vésinet-Le Pecq.
